Update Log and Patch Notes — Version History and Changes

Last verified: August 10, 2026

This page tracks confirmed updates for Echoes of Aincrad. We only include information that can be verified against official developer announcements or consistent community reports.

Note: The game reportedly launched in mid-July 2026 and is actively being updated. Some mechanics and values below may change. Check the official store pages (Steam, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store) for the latest official information. Correction note: an earlier version of this page listed versions and content (a "1.1.0" update, "Floors 11–12") that do not appear in any official source. Those entries were unverified and have been removed.

Confirmed Updates

Current Build: 1.0.4

Released: Approximately July 16, 2026

The current public build as of this writing. It is a bug-fix pass that addressed issues reported during the launch week:

  • Combat and stability fixes following the day-one overhaul (see 1.0.3 below)
  • Various quest and progression bug fixes
  • Performance fixes across platforms
Note: Specific numerical balance changes (damage values, timers, drop rates) have not been independently verified. If you have confirmed patch note details from official sources, please contact us.

Version 1.0.3 — Day-One Patch (Combat Overhaul)

Released: Approximately July 10, 2026 (day one)

The most significant patch to date: a combat overhaul shipped with launch.

  • Sword Skill timing, hit feedback, and enemy behavior were adjusted from the pre-release build
  • Aimed at launch-window feedback about combat feel and inconsistent boss difficulty
  • Included general stability fixes
Why this matters: if you read a pre-launch preview's combat complaints, note that the day-one patch already addressed part of them. The current build and the review build are different.

Version 1.0.0 — Launch

Released: Approximately July 9 (Japan) / July 10 (global), 2026

The game launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Exact launch details (pricing, editions, content counts) have not been independently verified and are omitted here until confirmed.

Launch Content (as widely reported):
